Our New customer in CHILE was a whole lot of fun. These young business owners jumped on an airplane and flew out to Los Angeles to start their Gym equipment order. They picked out the machines they wanted, negotiated a price and left us a deposit.


The order took about 6 weeks or so to complete the custom remanufacture process. When the Gym equipment was finished our customer wanted to fly back to America for a final quality inspection before they paid the remaining balance.


Erick, one of our sales managers told them they could count on us and did not need to fly back to the USA. But they wanted to anyway.


This week the remanufactured gym equipment arrived in their country and we have some GRAND OPENING photos to show you. These were sent courtesy of our ENTREPRENEURIAL clients from the country of CHILE.

BULGARIA Buys Hammer Strength And Loves It.

UsedGymEquipment.com ships another beautiful Re-Manufactured Gym equipment order to Bulgaria.

Georgy Gechkov wanted only the best American gym equipment for his new Fitness Center in his home Country of Bulgaria. He wanted to make sure it was the best of the best in his City.

The order was all remanufactured in Platinum 'POWDER-COATED' frames with new cranberry colored upholstery.

The strength machine brands were HAMMER STRENGTH, Nautilus NITRO and PRECOR. He purchased Life Fitness 95Ti treadmills and Life Fitness 95Xi elliptical crosstrainers.

The shipping container was carefully packed and sent on it's destination to the Port of VARNA, Bulgaria.

Venezuela Loves UsedGymEquipment.com

Another Happy Customer in Venezuela, but this order started out like a CIA Novel.

One of our Fitness Equipment Experts gets a phone call from a man who said he was from Venezuela.  And was opening up a new gym in a big hurry.  He said if we could help him find what he needed he would come out to visit us in Los Angeles with a suitcase full of cash!

We had a Company conference over this customer trying to determine if this was a potential scam.  Because all we ever hear about Venezuela is out of the mouth of Hugo Chavez and George W. Bush. So our first thought was these were drug dealers trying to 'Launder' some illegal drug money in the USA.

Since we have done big cash deals to International customers before, we were comfortable enough to proceed with the transaction.  And when Mr. Vieira showed up in Los Angeles with three hundred thousand dollars in cash inside a leather bag.   We knew this was the real deal.

Mr. Vieira was the nicest guy.   He is just a good honest businessman who loves the fitness Industry and had been saving his money from other honest business ventures.  Mr. Vieira stayed in town for a few days and we showed him around town as our valued guest.  Boy did he change our opinion about the people in Venezuela.

And Mr. Vieira is very happy he found Used Gym Equipment LLC.  His total order came to $300,000.  which also included wood and rubber flooring.  He said he expected to spend about 3/4's  of a million dollars when he started his project.

Now Fitness Place Sport Center is up and running and full of happy customers in Venezuela.

Fitness Centers Prosper During 2008-2009 Recession

“The health club business model will continue to be a growth industry during the 2008 / 2009 recession.”

America recovered from our last full-scale recession in 1992 and the Fitness business has grown over 50% since. During the 1989 - 1992 recession Gym memberships did decline but that will not happen this time around.

Memberships will continue to grow (slowly) this time because people are joining Health Clubs today for different reasons. With the aging baby boomers, expensive health care costs, and the longer workday, people perceive fitness center memberships as a necessity and not as a luxury anymore.
